Have you heard about U by Kotex the newest product from Kotex?  It’s targeted for tweens and teens.
As the Mom of two teen daughters, I know first hand the awkwardness that often accompanies your daughter getting her period. The topic tends to make girls feel embarrassed and uncomfortable, yet as they enter puberty and experience the onset of menstruation, helping to ensure they feel at ease asking questions about women’s health issues can make all the difference in their self-image and confidence. Open conversations can eliminate our teens’ use of euphemisms like “that time of the month” and help them overcome the need to hide the box of tampons till the last minute at the register for checkout. These discussions can turn your daughter having her period into no big deal.
With this in mind, Kotex launched U, a new line of tampons, pads and liners, which feature a slim, thinner design, making them easier and more comfortable to use. And with bright, bold packaging and colors, girls don’t need to send their Mom to Walmart for them or feel embarrassed the next time the conversation comes up with their friends.
Last week I received a sample of U by Kotex Barely There Pantiliners both of my girls tried them I even tried one myself.  The girls like the U by Kotex line so much we went to Walmart and purchased the tampons and a box of the Kotex Clean Wear Pads too.
Here is what the girls liked ~
The cool colors and how its many different colors in one box!  They said it kinda lets them choose what kinda mood there in.  Also they are not embarrassed to carry them in there purse or gym bag.
The size they are so small, they can fit just about any where.  Melissa likes the fact she can place it in her pocket.
So thin and flexible The U by Kotex Barely There Pantiliner  so thin you really barely know it’s there!

Do you Want to try Kotex U too?

Go here to get a free sample of U by Kotex so you can try it too. Also while your there you can learn more about the U by Kotex line and download a fun Daily Journal iPhone or iTouch application that lets you take pictures, add play lists and geo-target your location for each entry. And, if you haven’t seen the hilarious new commercials, you can check out some of our favorites like this one here!
“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Kotex and received products necessary to facilitate my candid review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.  However all opinions are truly honest and how we really felt.”
